22 Lessons by Age 22

I have come to these valuable lessons because of pains you could probably relate to. Or not. Nothing I say here is self-help. This shit saved my life each time I was down bad.

I hope you feel my heart behind each one💜

1. First of all, ladies and the gays (don't cancel me), if he wanted to, he would. That's a biological fact. Also, for you as a person, if you wanted to, you would. Priorities, priorities…
   

2. Mental struggles are real. You can beat your mental struggles. Ask 19-year-old me who was contemplating suicide (found out and it broke my heart btw). Ask 22-year-old me who sees life in a very neutral stance and is doing well. For the most part😂😂
   

3. You have the greatest responsibility over yourself. You are the only one in your head. The only one in charge of your decisions. While you are at it, never lie to yourself. Lie to others all you want, don't fall for your own lies.
   

4. Continuous learning and curiosity are the ultimate goals. In this way, the journey is more important than the destination.
   

5. Always play the long-term game. This is only possible if you aren't competing with anyone but yourself. Play in decades not trends. Failure doesn't exist in the long term.
   

6. Yeah, you should sleep on it. Your thoughts after a good rest will be different.
   

7. Balance is stupid. Obsession is where greatness arises from. Happiness is bullshit. You want peace and fulfillment. Rich is average. Wealthy is the real deal. Don't be a slave.
   

8. Until you start winning at higher stakes, they are not your friend. Also, birds of a feather... You are the average of the 5 people you spend your time with (offline or online).
   

9. Accept it then you will be free. If you struggle with acceptance, might I suggest gardening as a hobby?
   

10. Life without work makes Tabi a very dull girl. Work without play makes Tabi a very miserable girl.
    

11. 99% of people don't know how to listen. Stop waiting to say that smart thing. Or YOUR story. Actually pay attention to the person in front of you.
    

12. Peasants laugh at people with big goals. Brokies get envious. Anomalies support big goals. Anomalies get inspired.
    

13. When you feel alone or whatever negative emotion, keep pushing. Please know that you are never alone. I cannot prove it but I hope you see it one day.
    

14. Everybody's figuring life out. No one has it all figured out. Stop being paralyzed by the false grandiosity of life.
    

15. If you are building to last, it will take longer than you think. Be patient. Slowly...then suddenly!
    

16. The gap between where you are now and where you want to be is some knowledge and action.
    

17. Saying 'I don't know' is the smartest thing a truly smart person says. Self-awareness is the hottest trait a person can have too. Self-respect is a superpower. Always know when to walk out when your worth isn't appreciated.
    

18. The movie 'The Matrix' is such a brilliant portrayal of our world. Never fall for the division they are aiming for. May God be with us. Love is the best weapon. On that note, I look forward to a day when Palestinians are free in their own land.
    

19. Best sellers are for brokies. The books no one mentions have the real sauce. YUM!
    

20. Crazy how many people stay in toxic romantic relationships because of 'good sex'. I will be giving him a call too! Yay!
    

21. So, you want a top-tier mate. Are you a top-tier mate yourself?
    

22. I remind people of very specific types of men, lol. I am apparently very much like Tommy Shelby from the Peaky Blinders. Also, like Sheldon from Big Bang. Recently, somebody said I was Zlatan Jnr (didn't even know who he was). Are those compliments? I don't know.

What I do know is:

I have no fucking limitations.

Years from now, you will be showing people this letter. 'I knew her back when she was nobody.' Not because I will be famous. But because I will be fulfilling the legacy I was born for. That's all that matters to me.
